Our Splitrock XT work boots are packed with features to help conquer the job site, including Premium Timberland® Nubuck Leather uppers, composite safety toes, puncture-resistant plates, and Anti-Fatigue Technology built for all-day shock absorption and energy return. You'll also find protection from below with our lightweight, non-marking, All-Weather TPU outsoles that feature heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant designed for traction in most conditions. Plus, their breathable, moisture-wicking linings are made of ReBOTL™ fabric containing at least 50% recycled PET plastic with antimicrobial treatment for odour control.
Fuel-Oil Resistant Sole
Fuel and Oil refers to the resistance of the outsole to NOT absorb caustic compounds such as oil and gas. These materials can react to certain outsole compounds, like PU. So when we build the shoe to be in those environments, we think about the outsole material and how it is attached to the upper. This is key for the OIL/GAS industry and workers out on the drilling rigs and refineries.

Anti-Fatigue Technology
Our exclusive Anti-Fatigue Technology absorbs shock and returns energy at key zones of the foot for comfort. Molded, inverted cones support, collapse and return energy in key pressure zones, and the cone structure uses less material for a lighter boot.
Puncture-Resistant Device (Non-Metallic Plate)
Flexible non-metallic plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.
All-Weather TPU Outsole
Specially-formulated thermoplastic urethane compound designed to maintain flexibility in variable weather conditions, providing enhanced traction on wet and frosted ice surfaces, plus slip, oil, and abrasion resistance.
ReBOTL™ Material
The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® apparel contains at least 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the stuff plastic bottles are made of). The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® footwear and accessories contains at least 50% recycled PET. (Excepting trace materials)
